There are many great transitions on the road of life, and the college search process is such an instance. We invite you to take a closer look at Antioch College as we go through our own wonderful transition.
Our commitment to classroom, cooperation, and community—what we call the “three C’s”—is stronger than ever, and Antioch is refocusing on the institutional values that placed it prominently among the most innovative institutions of higher education in the U.S. Our curriculum, which embodies the concept of “theory to practice,” continues to empower and inspire students to make contributions across a wide spectrum of disciplines.
Our Cooperative Education program, or co-op, offers students a unique liberal arts context to explore and test ideas that they are learning in the classroom in various work settings. Students spend six of their 15 quarters in a wide variety of full-time, paid work placements off campus. Students have worked at film studios in Los Angeles, in law firms in Chicago, at theaters in New York, at elementary schools in Florida, and other locations around the world.
We are seeking bold, imaginative, creative students who are capable of handling the rigors of a high-quality liberal arts education and who possess the desire and capacity to affect change within their communities. We welcome you to visit campus and the village of Yellow Springs so you may experience firsthand the sense of energy and renewal that is all around us.
We invite you to explore, question, and reflect upon what you expect from your college experience, and consider how Antioch College may fit into your plans. Please contact the Office of Admission at 937-319-6082 or as well as our current students, faculty, staff, and alumni as you learn more about Antioch College.
